History

The house was built in 1900 by the famous architect Adolf Micheroli. He is the architect of many villas in Gars and in the Kamp Valley.

With the opening of the Kamptal Railway, the "conquest of the landscape" and intensive tourism started. The region experienced a development similar to the Semmering region.

Adolf Micheroli has built this house for himself and his family. It breathes the spirit of the turn of the century and the Empire. And is probably the most beautiful villa in the Kamp Valley.

In the 30's the famous gynecologist Univ. Dr. Isidor Amreich acquired this jewel of the Belle Époque. In addition to his work as a surgeon and teacher at the University of Vienna (gynecology), Dr. Amreich also worked as a doctor in Gars. The building is therefore also known as the Amreich villa. The house has been restored ambitiously and is decorated in the style of the Fin de Siecle. Style and history have been reunited.
